Seriously, coitus interruptus has got nothing on bingo interruptus! Getting between a bingo player and their first shout of the evening isn’t a good way to make friends. And yet, you’ll find you make more friends in an evening’s bingo than you can make in a whole month of clubbing. Cometh the hour it might be eyes down for a full house, but between games you can really let your hair down and enjoy yourself. Between games you can pretty much do what you like. Like we said, you’re there to enjoy yourself.

Bingo is the best kind of competitive. Everyone wants to win – but no one needs to win so badly they’re going to begrudge you your moment of glory! Don’t ever be afraid to enjoy that moment! So make sure you don’t leave anyone in any doubt as to just whose line it is! Wave that ticket in the air; do the Highland fling if you have to – but shout. This is no time for modesty!

Speaking of which... Remember, you’re with friends – they’ve probably seen you embarrass yourself before. They’ve probably even heard you sing! So don’t hold back on the quack-quacks and the wolf whistles will you!

Finally, don’t ever be ashamed of your dabber! Pick your dabber with care and it will serve you well on those long nights in the bingo hall. Forget your biros, crayons and ink stamps – fill your wrist and give it a good dab!
